EudivergenceNormality, both in society and in organizations, is composed of codes and cultural patterns. Elements in this era are not unique and often do not reflect reality, limiting individualities from expressing themselves and releasing their potential. This is more than a shared perception: 9 out of 10 professionals feel that something that is encoded as ‘normal’ is actually not. The status quo can be changed, despite being a long and not always completed path: Only 9% of those who make an attempt succeed. If brought to completion, however, the change has positive and concrete impacts on the working environment and productivity. Those who are the bearers of this change can be called eudivergent, a neologism that combines the Greek term ‘eu’ with the term ‘divergence’, which refers to a process or element that moves away from a pre-existing idea or direction. Although somewhat rare in Organisations, eu-divergents plays a role that is far from marginal.
